The temptation of stakeholders to escape process constraints is perpetual.
The more mature processes are, the highest the cultural background required is, to persist over time. But people evolve (stakeholders as well as managers), culture and priorities too. Before reaching this high level of cultural background, it is necessary to maintain process management efforts over time, even more after several years of existence. Process awarness and process support must constantly be reactivated and controlled to make sure it is efficient and relevant.
